ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Each project may be awarded a maximum of €20 k (excl. VAT).
• The project must be carried out by an ISFIN UMR (PIIM, IM2NP, LMA, IUSTI, M2P2, I2M, FRESNEL, CPT, MESOPOLHIS, DICE).
• The project must be in line with ISFIN's research themes.
• The project must involve at least a second structure: another UMR within ISFIN's perimeter, or a UMR on the site outside ISFIN's perimeter, or a preferred partner (CEA, IRSN, ITER org, EDF).
• The budget requested from ISFIN (investment plus operating costs) will be a maximum of 20 k€ excluding VAT, including a maximum of 8 k€ excluding VAT for operating costs.
• A quotation for each piece of equipment requested in the project must be provided when the project is submitted.
• A fully completed and signed form must be submitted by the deadline.

Eligible expenses include

• Investment in scientific equipment for an individual amount in excess of €800 excluding VAT,
• Acquisition of new software/computation/simulation codes or renewal of licenses,
• Time spent using research infrastructures/large-scale equipment,
• The remuneration of a trainee for a maximum of 6 months,
• Small laboratory equipment and consumables,
• Maintenance, repair and metrological monitoring of equipment required for the project (excluding office equipment).

The following requests are not eligible:

• IT equipment (computers, tablets),
• Missions including registration and participation in conferences, symposia, workshops, schools, etc,
• Staff costs (excluding trainees).
