Our partner actions
Today, the Institute for fusion sciences and instrumentation in nuclear environments is the main contact for supporting and promoting the actions of its community in the socio-economic world. The institute therefore aims its actions at academic, public and private partners in multiple fields.
Our key actions include:
- Introduction of a thesis co-funding programme
- Joint organisation of seasonal schools
- Joint organisation of international conferences (ITER school, EFMMIN, ANIMMA, PSI, etc.)
- Organisation of 3 theme days a year
- Organisation of R&D events (e.g. in 2023, our innovative Nuclear reactors day with 8 start-ups in the sector)
“Innovative nuclear reactors day” feature

Testimonials
We collaborate with ISFIN on joint research projects, co-piloting master's programs and co-organizing international scientific events. This enables us to pool skills to initiate cross-disciplinary fission-fusion projects, particularly in nuclear instrumentation and measurement, for innovative solutions at the Cadarache center's major experimental facilities.
