FUSION-EP is an Erasmus Mundus joint master’s degree (EMJMD) funded by the European Union (EU) and coordinated by Aix-Marseille Université. An Erasmus Mundus master’s is a postgraduate international study programme delivered jointly by an international consortium made up of higher education establishments. The programme awards scholarships funded by the EU to the most talented students. Applications for the programme are open to students the world over.
Introduced in 2006, the Fusion-EP programme aims to train future generations of physicians and engineers specialising in magnetic confinement fusion. Since the 2019/2020 academic year, FUSION-EP has been coordinated by Aix-Marseille Université.
FUSION-EP is structured into two growing specialisation periods in two different universities in European chosen from among major fusion research players. The FUSION-EP programme issues a joint diploma certified by the following eight European partner universities:

- University of Gent, Belgium
- Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), Spain
- Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3), Madrid, Spain

- University of Stuttgart, Germany
- University of Prague (CVUT-CTU), Czech Republic
