SRIM - Students Research International Mobility

ISFIN's Graduate School aims to strengthen teaching through research, develop students' disciplinary and interdisciplinary skills and knowledge, and internationalize their training curriculum. To this end, ISFIN launches an annual call for international mobility for PhD students, covering periods of 6 weeks to 3 months outside France. The aim of the program is to enable PhD students to carry out their own scientific projects abroad in (or around) the Institute's fields of research. Awardees receive an appropriate budget for their mobility, which can be used for a variety of purposes:

  • Joining a laboratory to learn a new technique
  • Joining a laboratory to work on the same or a slightly different PhD topic
  • Start a collaboration with another PhD student or researcher...
  • Test an idea or hypothesis in a laboratory equipped for this purpose
  • Obtain the "European Doctorate" label. This label requires 3 months' mobility, as well as compliance with a few rules relating to thesis defense.
  • Any other good motivation...
